The Roaming Root

The Roaming Root is a Fairbanks based purveyor of Alaska grown and locally made goods. I collaborated closely with the owner to develop a memorable brand for her fledgling business, which launched as The Roaming Root Mobile Market and was located in a renovated school bus that traveled around town and advertised on social media. I crafted a playful, illustrated beet matched with quirky typography and a warm, vintage-inspired palette to embody the spirit of this grassroots shop and its deep commitment to the local farmers and community with which it does business. The mobile iteration was so successful that it quickly evolved into a successful brick and mortar store and we updated the brand to the Roaming Root Cellar.
