Kachemak Kelp

Kachemak Kelp directly supports regenerative seaweed farms in Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet by testing approaches to processing, exploring new markets, and sharing information with the community. They also buy, process and sell locally grown seaweed and seaweed products. The Kachemak Kelp brand identity was inspired by the graceful form of kelp oscillating on the tide and the pristine, bio-rich waters of Kachemak Bay. With a versatile, maritime color palette and clean, modern lines, it was designed with the potential growth and evolution of the organization in mind. Once complete, I collaborated with them again to develop a secondary palette and design a series of product labels to brand their first roll-out of retail offerings, including jarred mixes and bags of dried kelp.
